Our People

In Memory of Mila Grecco Dietze
Mila's Dream
In 1996, the very warm, friendly and profoundly talented designer, Mila Grecco Dietze opened BKC of Westfield to fulfill a longtime ambition. She was determined to provide beautifully designed as well as brilliantly functional kitchens (and other rooms) at prices "real people" could afford.

Soon after opening, BKC became the benchmark for high quality kitchens, baths and customized cabinetry in and around Westfield. Mila received a warm welcome from area residents, appreciative of her gifted insights and unfaultering demand for quality.

Mila has since passed after battling cancer, but the company continues to grow under the thoughtful guidance of her husband Bill Dietze, the meticulous workmanship of her brother-in-law, Rob Dietze and the artful visions of highly talented professional managers and project managers.

Today at BKC, we are always mindful of Mila's original goals. We work hard to honor her legacy of innovation and artistry in every single project. With two showroom expansions under our belt, we take great pride that our customers recognize the value of our designs and workmanship. We'd like to think that Mila would be just as proud.

Bill Dietze
William B. Dietze, Co-Owner / Manager
Upon ending a 20 year career at CitiBank, Bill began a new chapter in his life. After Mila’s passing and while still working for CitiBank, Bill devoted his spare time to BKC, overseeing and managing its daily business activities. As the business grew and the need for his time at BKC grew, Bill became a fulltime member of the BKC team to manage and support the growth of the business. Today, he believes that he’s found a new sense of purpose, working for a company where the finished product receives such an enthusiastic response from its customers.

Rob Dietze
Robert C. Dietze, Co-Owner / Designer / Installation
As an experienced building contractor prior to joining BKC, Rob’s talents further developed as both a kitchen designer and fine cabinetry installer, greatly enhancing the overall installation process at BKC, with his perfectionist sensibility and keen eye for the smallest detail in cabinetry installation. Rob brings a high level of artistry to a critical part of the project. As co-owner of BKC, Rob’s efforts have guided the growth and reputation of our business.
